-
Do not rub, pick or scratch your eyes.
-
Do not use mascara or eyeshadow or tint your lashes for 2 weeks.

A cold compress is a good idea if required. Eye drops can be used.
Bruising is common - as is redness.
EYEBROWS:
Will look dark in colour at first but will soften once the scabbing comes away (this could take up to 2 weeks).
-
Leave to ‘Dry Heal’ for 3 days unless directed otherwise, then apply aftercare ointment on the treated area once daily (preferably morning).
-
Apply Factor 50 sunscreen on the treated area when going out in the sun.
-
Avoid excessive direct water on the area and also harsh cleansers/toners.
-
Allow scabbing to fall off naturally. Do not pick!
LIPS:
Your lips will be swollen (sometimes twice the size). You can apply a cold compress as outlined under EYELINER (above).
-
Do not scratch or pick the scabbing off. It will come away naturally.
-
When drinking use a straw for first 3 days.
-
Apply aftercare ointment liberally to the area at least 3 times daily for 2 weeks.
-
Once the scabbing has lifted continue to use the aftercare ointment/Vaseline or a new lip balm for a further 2 weeks.
-
Apply Factor 50 sunscreen on the treated area when going out in the sun.
It is crucial that you are applying your aftercare ointment as instructed. To clean dab gently with unfragranced sensitive baby wipe or cooled boiled water.
During the healing stage after the first procedure, it is completely normal for your semi-permanent makeup to appear lighter in places. It is normal to lose up to 50% of the colour in the first 7 days.
You may also notice that in places you may lose colour all together, this is a common occurrence after your first procedure.
Please remember that this is normally a 2-stage process. Further depth, definition and pigment will be added at your second procedure and in some cases a third procedure may be necessary which is chargeable at £85; This will depend on skin sensitivity and if your skin is resistant to the pigment.
Please note whilst your treatment is healing, no further treatment can be carried out on the area for at least 4 weeks.
It is not advisable to use a sunbed for 2-3 weeks before & after a treatment as you risk complications with the healing process and accelerated pigment fading.
Please book your 2nd necessary procedure for 4-6 weeks later.
